Morphology of Mixed Powder for Enhanced Material Properties

Figure 1 (b) shows the morphology of the mixed powder. It can be found that the graphite is flake in the Cu-coated graphite particles, and the Cu coating is uniformly and completely coated on the surface of the graphite. The pure copper particles are spherical, while the Cr2AlC particles are lamellar. The distribution of these particles appears to be uniform throughout the mixed powder, indicating good mixing during the preparation process. The presence of both Cu-coated graphite and Cr2AlC particles suggests that the resulting composite material may have improved mechanical and thermal properties, as well as enhanced electrical conductivity.
