Approval Request for Dealing Room Printer Replacement

This document requests approval for replacing two outdated printers in the dealing room with new models. The existing printers, purchased in 2006 and 2009, are facing printing issues and do not support double-sided printing. Quotes from three vendors, RICOH, BANNS, and HUAYU, are attached. The lowest bid was received from BANNS for two HP M203dw printers, totaling 3,998 RMB. The new printers will have a one-year warranty and regular maintenance will be covered under the branch's existing hardware AMC.

The expense of 3,998 RMB, equivalent to 620.08 USD (1 USD = 6.45), falls within the discretionary powers of VP(ops) as per Para 6, General matters, Table 13 item 7, Page-34 (Hiring of machines/equipment/services etc. a. services (in any one instance)). VP(ops) has financial powers up to USD 4000/- as per the scheme of delegation of financial powers (Foreign Offices)-2019 effective from 14th Aug 2019.
