Three Taiwan Siblings, PKU Alumni, Find Their Roots in Fujian

In 1988, Lin Wen-fang was finally able to reunite with his family in mainland China after being stranded in Taiwan for nearly four decades. Three decades later, his three grandchildren, all alumni of Peking University, returned to the mainland to find their roots in Fujian province. The siblings, Lin Mei-hua, Lin Mei-ling, and Lin Mei-yu, shared their story of seeking their ancestral homeland and connecting with their family history. They visited their grandfather's hometown and met with distant relatives, discovering their cultural heritage and gaining a deeper understanding of their family's past. The experience left a lasting impression on the siblings, who hope to continue exploring their roots and connecting with their ancestors in the future.
