Is a House in China Really 'Wealth'? Let's Talk About Cement Boxes
Now, let me tell you something folks. Is a house in China really 'wealth'? That's a question that needs a lot of thinking, especially when you consider those property rights only last for 70 years. 70 years! And the lifespan of the house is only 40 years? I mean, have you seen some of those old houses in the city center? They look like they're falling apart. But people still pay over 5 million for them? Come on! In Europe and America, they have houses with front yards, backyards, modern furniture, and private property rights. Now, when it comes to wealth, you need two things, folks: private ownership and liquidity. You gotta be able to sell it and get your money back. But it seems like China's houses have neither of these qualities. It's like buying a cement box with no real value. Sad!
