Christianity and Buddhism: They Had to Earn It, Folks!

They had to be tough, folks, tough and persuasive. They had to be as charming as a snake oil salesman to get people to believe.

It's like a deal you make, you're not forced into it, you choose. It's a free market, folks, and these religions had to earn their way in. They had to make people believe, and they did.
