Abstract: Project-based learning is a new practical teaching mode for cultivating core geographical literacy in the context of education reform. The geographical research trip guided by this mode focuses on student-centered learning, interdisciplinary integration, and practical ability development. This case study focuses on the project-based learning of 'Exploring the Natural and Cultural Landscape of the Water Towns in Jiangnan'. We construct a 'three-stage six-step' geographical research implementation process to enhance students' literacy and achieve a change in the way of education.
