TGF-β in Endometrioma Fibrogenesis: KAT14-SRF Interaction and α-SMA Expression - A Re-Evaluation

This manuscript presents a brief overview of the involvement of TGF-β in endometrioma-associated fibrogenesis. The authors investigated the interaction between KAT14 and SRF, which seems to enhance the expression of α-SMA. Although this finding provides a new perspective in endometrioma research, a substantial portion of the conclusions has been previously published by the authors, lacking novelty. As a result, the manuscript is not suitable for publication in eBioMedicine. Detailed comments are provided below.
