利用虚拟震源提取接收函数探测断层带损伤结构
This manuscript proposes a method to detect the damage structure within a fault zone by using earthquake events occurring in the deep part of the fault rupture zone as virtual sources and extracting the Green's functions between them through surface observations. The theoretical approach for extracting the indirect receiver function between virtual sources is proposed by deploying seismic stations across the fault zone. The author analyzes the feasibility and applicability in different geometrical shapes of virtual source pairs and determines the optimal virtual source distance suitable for recovering the damage structure, i.e., when the event pair distance is greater than the damage zone width.
