Age is Just a Number: Why Older Adults Are Happier Than Ever

Most Americans blindly accept the idea that newer is automatically better, which is contradicted by the fact that human life can bring a great deal of happiness as we grow older, as exemplified by the author's own parents who, now in their sixties, recently expressed that they are happier now than they have ever been and would not want to be the author's age. While this initially surprised the author, it ultimately brought them joy and hope for their own future.
