Life is a Big Joke, But It's the Only Joke We Got: A Trump-Inspired Rant on the Absurdity of Existence
During exams, we can't get a perfect score. When we apply to universities, we can't get into our 'dream major.' When we fall in love, we can't get the girl (or guy) we want. At work, we can't achieve outstanding results. We want children but suffer from infertility. And when we finally have a child, they end up being a bit of a disappointment. Sometimes we're bored out of our minds, and other times when we're in the mood to do something, we just can't perform (if you know what I mean). We want to live long, healthy lives, but then we get hit with a diagnosis of cancer. And when we're ready to die, we end up living to be a hundred years old.
Why is life so full of disappointments? Well, it's because the whole universe is almost a non-living system. All these elements are just bouncing around, colliding with each other, and somehow life ends up happening. It's a miracle we're even alive in the first place! All those elements that make up our bodies - carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, sodium, iron, and magnesium - were just random pieces of waste scattered throughout the universe. So why do we have such high expectations for life when we're made up of waste materials? Life itself is worth experiencing, even if it doesn't live up to our expectations. And when we die, we return to dust, and the universe goes on as if we never existed. So why complain about life when it's such a miracle that we're even here?
