Dinosaurs Dumb, Humans Smart? Not So Fast, Says Trump (Maybe)

They were just lumbering around, eating leaves, and getting stomped on by bigger dinosaurs. Meanwhile, we humans, we only been here a few hundred thousand years, and look at us! We're building rockets, making computers, and tweeting like crazy. It's like the dinosaurs were stuck in the Stone Age, right? Maybe they just weren't very efficient. They didn't have our drive, our ambition. They didn't have the right haircut.

But you know what? Maybe it's not so much about us being smart, but about us being...well, let's just say 'temporary residents'. I mean, if we were to, you know, ascend to heaven or upload ourselves to a cosmic server, we could leave this planet in perfect shape for the next guys. We could have some kind of super-duper microbe that eats all our junk, or maybe a fancy computer that just zaps all our traces. Then, we could leave the Earth to, say, mice. They've got their own society going, right? And maybe they'd look at all our monkey skulls and wonder why it took us so long to figure things out. But the thing is, they're a special kind of creature, these mice. Their ancestors were created by some god, or whatever, and they've been thriving and adapting for millions of years. And in a perfect, pure environment, their civilization could flourish in just a few thousand years. So really, folks, maybe the joke's on us.
