Momentum Variance Dynamics in a Quantum Model: Linear Growth and Saturation

As illustrated in Figure 1, the model demonstrates a linear increase in momentum variance, a characteristic reminiscent of the origin kicked rotor model. Quantum effects manifest in the suppression of momentum diffusion, exhibiting similarities to Anderson localization. This suppression ultimately results in the momentum variance reaching a saturation value. For the entirety of this paper, the period T0 and kick strength K0 are maintained at 4.5 and 7.5, respectively.
