Linear Momentum Variance and Diffusion Suppression in a Quantum Model

Figure 1 illustrates a linear increase in the momentum variance of the model, resembling the behavior observed in the classical kicked rotor model. In the quantum regime, momentum diffusion is suppressed, a phenomenon reminiscent of Anderson localization. Consequently, the momentum variance stabilizes and approaches a saturation value. Throughout this investigation, the period T0 and kick strength K0 are maintained at constant values of 4.5 and 7.5, respectively.
