Linear Momentum Variance Growth and Suppression in a Quantum Model
The model exhibits a linear increase in momentum variance, as depicted in Fig. ef{fig1}, mirroring the behavior of the classical kicked rotor model. Notably, the quantum system demonstrates suppressed momentum diffusion, reminiscent of Anderson localization. As a consequence, the momentum variance asymptotically approaches a finite saturation value. Throughout the remainder of the paper, the period T0 and kick strength K0 are held constant at 4.5 and 7.5, respectively.
