Influence of RCP and Curing Methods on Alkali-Activated Recycled Concrete Powder-Slag Aggregate (AARCPSA) and Concrete Performance
The influence of curing method, RCP grinding time, RCP:Slag ratio, Na2O dosage and Na2SiO3 modulus on the performance of alkali-activated high-volume recycled concrete powder-slag aggregate (AARCPSA) was studied using large doses of recycled concrete powder (RCP) as aggregate. Concrete was prepared using the above-mentioned aggregate and the influence of aggregate curing time, aggregate soaking time and aggregate material ratio on the concrete performance was investigated. The experimental results showed that AARCPSA had good physical, mechanical and microstructural properties. RCP mainly played a physical role in AARCPSA, and the dilution and filling effects of RCP greatly improved the preparation and performance of AARCPSA. The concrete prepared using AARCPSA had a lower density than ordinary concrete, with compressive strength and splitting tensile strength reaching 59MPa and 4.5MPa respectively. Compared with aggregate strength, the effect of aggregate particle size distribution on the internal damage morphology of concrete was more significant.
