Carbon Tax and C&T Mechanism: Driving Emissions Reduction and EV Adoption in Logistics

The implementation of carbon taxes and C&T mechanisms can effectively promote emissions reduction in logistics enterprises, as well as the adoption of electric logistics vehicles by such enterprises. The implementation of carbon tax policies will increase the cost for enterprises, while C&T mechanisms can reduce costs. Meanwhile, the analysis results show that the industry regulatory factor for carbon quotas does not vary with changes in enterprise scale, which can serve as a reference for setting regulatory factors when incorporating the logistics industry into the C&T mechanism.
