Topdressing: Building Barriers and Preventing Water Flow on Golf Greens

This is what we call 'topdressing' in the industry, as well as other sand particles blown in from the sand trap, and the coloration that doesn't gather in the low areas of the green. This will cause it to rise over the years, forming this barrier that prevents surface water from flowing.
