Ridge-Top Fertilization: Understanding the Barrier it Creates

This is what we in the industry refer to as 'ridge-top' fertilization, as well as other sand grains blown in from the sandpit, and color that won't accumulate in low areas of the green. This will cause it to rise over the years, forming this barrier, so surface water cannot run off.
