Topdressing: Building a Barrier to Surface Water Flow

This is what we call in the industry as 'topdressing' with sand and other sand particles blown into the green from sand pits, as well as the color that does not accumulate in low-lying areas of the green. This will cause it to rise over the years, forming this barrier, so surface water cannot flow away.
