Topdressing: Creating a Barrier to Surface Water Flow

This is what we call 'topdressing' in the industry, as well as other sand particles blown in from the sand pit and the color that doesn't gather at the low points of the green. This will cause it to rise over the years, forming this barrier, so surface water cannot flow off.
