The Impact of Intelligent Development on Income, Human Capital Flow, and Mismatch: Evidence from Regression Analysis
In Column (1), income is utilized as the independent variable, and the coefficient of intelligent development is observed to be significantly positive at the 1% level, indicating that intelligent development has a positive effect on average income. In Column (2), human capital flow is employed as the independent variable, and the coefficient of intelligent development is significantly negative at the 1% level. On the other hand, the coefficient of income is significantly positive at the 1% level. This suggests that intelligent development may lead to a loss of human capital, while an increase in income may attract more human capital. Moreover, the absolute value of the coefficient indicates that the attractiveness of income increase is stronger than the negative effect of intelligent development. In Column (3), human capital mismatch is taken as the independent variable, and the mediating variables all pass the 1% significance test. Hence, it can be inferred that intelligent development can correct human capital mismatch through two mediating channels: increasing income and promoting human capital mobility. Similarly, Column (4) indicates that intelligent development contributes to the widening of the income gap. Column (5) further demonstrates that the widening income gap has a negative impact on human capital, leading to a loss of human capital. Finally, Column (6) confirms that intelligent development widens the income gap, thereby promoting human capital mobility and alleviating the chain mediating path of human capital mismatch.
