The Impact of Enterprise-Level Intelligence on Human Capital Mismatch: Evidence from China

Furthermore, utilizing the enterprise credit information retrieval platform 'Enterprise Query', we conducted a study on the development of enterprise-level intelligence. Specifically, we employed Python crawler technology to search for relevant contents pertaining to intelligent technologies such as 'intelligence', 'cloud', 'data', 'Internet', and 'machine learning' in the 'business scope' and 'company name' columns. Additionally, to measure the level of intelligent development, we utilized the number of intelligent enterprises in each city, as displayed in columns (3) and (4). Our regression analysis revealed a significantly negative coefficient of intelligent development at the 1% level, indicating that the advancement of intelligent technologies exacerbates the skill mismatch of human capital. These findings are robust and reliable.
