China's Intelligent Development: A Policy-Driven Growth Trajectory

As evidenced by the trend graph presented in the preceding section, China has experienced notable growth in its intelligent development during the years 2013 and 2016. This growth could be attributed to active policies implemented by the Chinese government. Notably, there exist two pivotal points in the evolution of China's artificial intelligence (AI) sector. Firstly, in late December 2013, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 'Guidance on Promoting the Development of Industrial Robot Industry', which aimed at fostering the widespread adoption of industrial robots in the manufacturing industry. The second pivotal moment occurred in May 2015, when the Chinese government initiated the 'Made in China 2025' plan with the goal of expediting the intelligent transformation of production equipment.
