Practical Experience and Legal Perspectives: Exploring 'What is Law' through Real-World Applications
My practice experience gave a different answer to this question. I used to be a school reporter for a while and got to know and interview all kinds of people. The process of communicating with them enhanced my ability to dig out hot topics, so I could answer 'what is law' by thinking about some hot topics. For example, in January 2021, China issued the Measures for Blocking the Unjustified Application of Foreign Laws and Measures Abroad. I immediately seized this hot topic, and within a week, I actively formed a research team with other classmates, taking small and medium-sized enterprises as the entry point, and comprehensively studying international legislation, conducting a project research entitled 'Legislative Transformation of the Measures for Blocking the Unjustified Application of Foreign Laws and Measures Abroad'. During the research process, I realized that law is a tool to maintain social stability. My internship experience in the court also made me think. During the internship, I often encountered cases related to (application direction). This experience not only made me conclude that 'law is a weapon to defend individual rights', but also made me have a strong interest in (XX) direction.
