Cargo Hold Cleaning Delayed Due to Heavy Rain: Safety Measures & Manpower Update

Due to heavy rain, the hatch cover of the cargo hold and the manhole cover of the fuel oil tank have been closed to prevent rainwater from entering. Workers have assured us that they will promptly provide rainproof covers to ensure the cargo hold remains dry. We will closely monitor and assess the effectiveness of these measures to ensure the safety of the operation.

Prioritizing safety, we propose opening the hatches to resume the cleaning operation as soon as weather conditions allow. However, progress in the cleaning process has been slow due to the initial delay. Therefore, we have already requested additional manpower from the terminal to aid in the cleaning efforts. The terminal has confirmed that they will dispatch 10 personnel for the cleaning task on the 22nd, as per the initial plan.
