The Confederacy and Cuba didn't have a direct relationship, but during the American Civil War, the Confederacy tried to get support from Cuba. The Confederacy hoped to establish trade relationships with Cuba and even thought about taking over the island to get more resources and help for the war. But these efforts didn't really work, and Cuba stayed neutral during the Civil War.
