This article attempts to answer the above question using the data collection methods of in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and text analysis. Adopting the method of case study and comparison, the article collected data by conducting in-depth interviews with 15 individuals, including A state-owned enterprise leadership team, employees at all levels, securities regulators and supervisory agencies, and economic news media reporters, in order to obtain more objective and comprehensive viewpoints through the diversity of interviewees and observation angles. The participatory observation method combined the author's work experience and personal experience in A state-owned enterprise to analyze 16 cases and a large amount of first-hand information collected from special work, symposiums, and group discussions during two development mechanisms. The text analysis method mainly adopted the case analysis method to compare A state-owned enterprise's adoption of market competition mechanism and political affiliation mechanism, focusing on strategic formulation, leadership behavior styles, management requirements, internal and external collaboration, and business performance results.
