Teaching Plan for COM1011 Programming Fundamentals in C
Course Description: This course is an introduction to programming in C. Students will learn the basics of programming in C, including variables, data types, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers, and file input/output.
Course Goals: By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Understand the basics of programming in C
- Write simple C programs
- Understand the principles behind good programming practices
- Work with basic data structures in C
Teaching Methodology: The course will be taught through a combination of lectures, exercises, and assignments. Students will be expected to complete regular assignments and quizzes to reinforce their understanding of the material.

Grading:
A - 90-100% B - 80-89% C - 70-79% D - 60-69% F - Below 60%
Note: The department will not open another C programming module in the next semester because other modules like Python and Java will be taught next semester. Students who wish to continue learning C programming are encouraged to explore online resources or consult with their instructors for additional resources.
