Satirical Poem: A Look at North Korea's Propaganda

Oh Democratic People's Republic of Korea, How grand and glorious you must be, With your supreme leader and your propaganda, And your dear leader's face on every tree.

Your people are so happy and content, With their daily rations and their labor camps, And who needs freedom of speech or thought, When you have such lovely propaganda stamps?

You are the envy of the world, With your missile tests and your nuclear might, And who cares if your people suffer, When you can flex your military might?

Your dear leader is a hero, A god among mere mortal men, And who cares if he's a little chubby, When he's always right, time and time again?

Oh Democratic People's Republic of Korea, You are the model for us all, With your strict control and your iron grip, And your people so willing to crawl.

So let us all bow down to you, And praise your dear leader's name, For in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, All are equal, or so they claim.
