Driven by Compassion and Proactivity: My Journey to Public Health at Fudan University

Hi everyone! My name is Hu Meng Yu, and I'm excited to share my story with you. I consider myself to be a diligent, compassionate, and proactive individual. My diligence has led me to receive school-level scholarships and awards, and I've participated in a research project focused on improving healthcare access in underserved communities. My compassion drives me to help others, which is why I've volunteered at a local food bank and donated blood regularly. Being proactive means I'm always seeking opportunities to learn and grow. With a passion for public health, I made the decision to switch from nursing to public health to better serve my community.

Studying at Fudan University offers me a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge, skills, and perspectives that will help me achieve my career goals. I hope to develop my skills in community health programs and health policy to better serve vulnerable populations. By studying at Fudan, I'll have access to exceptional faculty and resources that will enable me to achieve my goals.
