Diligent, Compassionate, and Proactive: Hu Meng Yu's Journey to Public Health at Fudan University

Hi everyone, my name is Hu Meng Yu and I'm excited to share my story with you. With a passion for public health, I've always been diligent in my academic pursuits. This dedication allowed me to receive school-level scholarships and awards, and even participate in a research project focused on improving health outcomes in underserved communities. I remained committed to the task, working long hours and pushing myself to achieve the best results.

Driven by my desire to help others, I've also been actively involved in volunteer work and blood donation campaigns. These experiences have taught me the importance of empathy and compassion, demonstrating how small acts of kindness can significantly impact someone's life.

I believe that there's always room for growth and improvement, which is why I decided to switch from nursing to public health. At Fudan University, I hope to gain new knowledge, skills, and perspectives that will allow me to make an even greater impact on the health and well-being of individuals and communities. My specific interests include learning about the latest research and interventions in the field, and developing my leadership and communication skills.
