Driven by Compassion and a Passion for Public Health: My Journey to Fudan University

Hi everyone, my name is Hu Meng Yu and I am excited to share my story with you. I would describe myself as diligent, compassionate, and proactive. My diligence has resulted in me receiving school-level scholarships and awards, as well as participating in research projects. My compassion drives me to help others in any way I can, whether it's through volunteer work or blood donation. Being proactive means that I am always seeking opportunities to challenge myself and learn, which is why I made the decision to switch from nursing to public health. My commitment to helping others and making a positive impact in their lives is a driving force behind my actions.

As I pursue my passion for public health, I am eager to have the opportunity to continue learning and developing at Fudan University. I am particularly drawn to the university's reputation for academic excellence and its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. I am confident that studying at Fudan will provide me with the knowledge, skills, and experiences necessary to make meaningful contributions to the field of public health.
