My favorite course in college was microbiology. I found it fascinating to learn about the various types of microorganisms, their role in disease and healthcare, and the ways in which they can be controlled and treated. Additionally, the hands-on laboratory work allowed me to apply and solidify my knowledge, which was both challenging and rewarding. Overall, microbiology sparked my interest in infectious diseases and ultimately led me to pursue a career in public health with a focus on clinical research of major infectious diseases.
