Public Health Postgraduate Applicant: Nursing Background & Research Expertise

As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination in public health, I am confident in my research abilities due to my previous experiences. One of my most significant accomplishments was participating in a nationally funded research project, 'A self-management plan for stable COPD patients centered on information needs.' Through this project, I learned how to conduct research independently, analyze data, and present my findings professionally.

Furthermore, I have also received a certificate in International Conference on Harmonisation of Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) and participated in GCP training organized by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. These experiences have equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the ethical principles and guidelines for conducting clinical trials.

During my internship at Hangzhou Normal University-affiliated hospital, I attended several small lectures across different departments. These sessions provided me with valuable insights on how to analyze and intervene clinical cases. As a result, I was able to present my own research findings confidently.

Overall, my experience in research, clinical practice, and training has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of the scientific method and the ethical principles guiding medical research. I believe that these skills, combined with my dedication and hard work, will enable me to excel in the field of public health research.
