Nursing Student's Research Experience and Clinical Skills for Public Health Postgraduate Studies

As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance exam in public health, I have been involved in a national-level research project, 'Self-Management Plan for Stable COPD Patients with Information Needs as the Center.' This project has provided me with valuable experience in conducting research, collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

I have also obtained the ICH-GCP certificate and participated in GCP training organized by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. These experiences have equipped me with the necessary knowledge and skills to conduct clinical trials and ensure the safety and well-being of study participants.

During my internship at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I had the opportunity to attend small lectures in multiple departments. Through these lectures, I learned how to analyze clinical cases and intervene appropriately. I also had the chance to present my own research findings, which helped me improve my presentation skills.

Overall, my research experience, training in clinical trials, and exposure to various clinical cases have provided me with a solid foundation to pursue further studies in public health. I am confident that with my interdisciplinary background, I can contribute to the field of public health and make meaningful contributions to society.
