Nursing Student with Strong Research Background Seeking Public Health Master's
As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination in public health, I possess a range of research advantages that have prepared me for this next step. One of the most significant projects I have participated in was a nationally funded research initiative that centered on COPD patients and their self-management plans. This project allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of information demand and how it can be used to develop effective self-management strategies for patients with chronic illnesses.
I have also led a community project aimed at preventing falls in elderly citizens. While this project did not receive an award, it allowed me to gain invaluable experience in a hands-on research environment. Furthermore, my ICH-GCP certification and participation in the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association's GCP training program have given me a solid foundation in good clinical practice, a crucial skill in the world of research.
During my internship at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I participated in several small lectures across various departments. These lectures were an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced clinicians and develop my skills in clinical analysis and intervention. I even had the chance to present my findings during one of these lectures.
Overall, my research advantages are the result of a combination of hands-on experience, theoretical knowledge, and practical skills. I am confident that this will serve me well as I continue my academic journey in public health research.
