Research Strengths for Public Health Master's Applicant with Nursing Background

I believe my research strengths lie in my interdisciplinary background in nursing and public health. As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary entrance exam for a master's degree in public health, I have participated in a national-level project focusing on self-management plans for COPD patients based on their information needs. This project has provided me with valuable experience in research design, data collection and analysis, and project management.

In addition to this project, I have also led a community-based project aimed at preventing falls among elderly individuals. Although this project did not receive an award, it taught me the importance of flexibility, collaboration, and persistence in research. I also have a certification in ICH-GCP and have completed training in GCP organized by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, which has equipped me with a solid methodological foundation and ethical principles for conducting clinical research.

During my internship at the Affiliated Hospital of Hangzhou Normal University, I was able to participate in several small group teaching sessions and presentations, which have honed my communication and presentation skills. Overall, I believe my research strengths lie in my interdisciplinary background, methodological proficiency, and practical experience in research design and implementation.
