Nursing Student with Research Experience Seeking Public Health Master's Degree
As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination in public health, I believe I have several strengths in research.
Firstly, I participated in a national-level project titled 'An Information Needs-Centered Self-Management Plan for Stable COPD Patients.' This project equipped me with experience in designing and conducting research, as well as data analysis and interpretation.
Secondly, I obtained the ICH-GCP certificate and participated in GCP training organized by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. This enhanced my understanding of ethical research practices and regulations, essential for conducting high-quality research.
Thirdly, I conducted an analysis of the influencing factors of falls among elderly people in the community. Although this project didn't receive any awards, I gained valuable experience in project management, data collection and analysis, and academic writing.
Lastly, during my internship at the Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I had the opportunity to participate in small lectures and presentations, which improved my communication skills and ability to express complex ideas clearly.
Overall, I believe my experience in research and training has provided me with a solid foundation to pursue further studies in public health. I am excited to continue developing my skills in this area.
