Nursing Student with Public Health Research Experience and GCP Training
As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance examination in public health, I've developed a strong interest in health research and management. I've been actively involved in research projects, including a nationally-funded project titled 'A self-management program for stable COPD patients based on information needs.' This experience has given me valuable insights into the importance of patient-centered care and the role of technology in improving health outcomes. I've also led a community-based project on fall prevention for older adults, highlighting my commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and community engagement.
I have further strengthened my research skills through training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and participation in the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association's GCP training program. This has equipped me with the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct ethical and scientifically sound research while ensuring the protection and rights of research participants.
During my internship at the Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I attended numerous small lectures across various departments, learning how to analyze clinical cases and develop effective interventions. I presented my research findings at a meeting, enhancing my communication and presentation skills.
My research strengths lie in my ability to work collaboratively, my dedication to patient-centered care, and my strong foundation in research ethics and methodologies. I am eager to continue my academic and professional development in the field of public health research and management.
