Nursing Student with Strong Research Background and Clinical Experience Seeking Public Health Master's
As a nursing student preparing for the cross-disciplinary postgraduate entrance exam in public health, I have a strong research background and experience in healthcare. My involvement in a national-level project on 'COPD self-management plans,' which focused on information needs, has given me a deep understanding of the importance of patient-centered care in chronic disease management. Additionally, I have led a community-based program on fall prevention among elderly populations, which, although not awarded, has provided me with valuable experience in project management and problem-solving.
Moreover, my certification in International Conference on Harmonization-Good Clinical Practice (ICH-GCP) and participation in GCP training hosted by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association have enhanced my knowledge of ethical research practices, particularly in clinical trials. During my internship at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I have attended several small lectures across various departments and have been exposed to clinical case analyses and interventions. My presentation at the final assessment was well-received by my peers and supervisors.
These experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in research methods, patient-centered care, project management, ethical research practices, and clinical knowledge. I believe that these skills will enable me to contribute to the field of public health and make a significant impact in patient care.
