Research Strengths for Public Health Postgraduate Applications - Nursing Student

As a nursing student preparing for cross-disciplinary postgraduate studies in public health, I have had the privilege of participating in a national-level research project focusing on COPD patients' self-management plans with an information-based approach as its core. Through this project, I gained valuable insights into the importance of patient education and the role of healthcare professionals in promoting patient-centered care.

I have also obtained an ICH-GCP certification and attended GCP training organized by the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. These experiences equipped me with a solid understanding of the ethical and scientific principles of clinical research, which will prove invaluable in my future academic endeavors.

During my internship at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital, I had the opportunity to attend multiple small lectures across different clinical departments. These lectures, presented by experienced clinicians and accompanied by clinical case analyses, helped me to develop a deeper understanding of the complex nature of patient care and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.

Overall, my research strengths lie in my ability to integrate knowledge from different fields, my dedication to patient-centered care, and my understanding of the ethical and scientific principles that underpin clinical research.
