Chapter 1

Lucy lived in a small town in the countryside with her parents and younger brother. They owned a farm and worked hard to make ends meet. Lucy was responsible for taking care of the animals, while her parents tended to the crops. It was a hard life, but they were happy.

Today was a special day for Lucy because she was going to visit her grandmother in the city. She had not seen her for a long time, and she missed her dearly. Lucy quickly got dressed and headed to the kitchen to have breakfast.
