Nursing to Public Health: My Journey from Bengbu Medical College to Fudan University

As a nursing undergraduate student at Bengbu Medical College, I decided to switch to the Public Health and Preventive Medicine program at Fudan University through cross-examination. I have received second-class and third-class scholarships at the university level, as well as awards such as 'Excellent Member', 'Excellent Volunteer', and 'Excellent Class Leader'. I have participated in a national-level innovation project, donated over 1000ml of blood, passed the English Level 6 exam, and went to a nursing home to measure blood pressure for the elderly in my freshman year. In my sophomore year, I went to explain to left-behind children how to prevent diseases. During the pandemic, I volunteered as a blood donor and in the community. In my senior year, I interned at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital.

Overall, I am satisfied with my progress so far. I have gained a lot of experience and skills through my extracurricular activities and internships, which have helped me develop a more comprehensive understanding of public health and medicine. I have also learned how to work effectively in a team and communicate with people from different backgrounds. However, I know that there is still a lot of room for improvement, and I am committed to continuing to learn and grow in the future.
