Public Health Passion: A Long-Term Vision Fueled by Action
As a nursing undergraduate student from Bengbu Medical College, I decided to pursue a degree in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University through cross-examination. I have been awarded second and third-level scholarships, as well as recognized as an outstanding member, volunteer, and class leader at the university level. I have participated in a national-level innovation project, donated over 1000ml of blood, passed the College English Test Band 6 (CET-6), and provided blood pressure measurements for the elderly in a nursing home during my freshman year. In my sophomore year, I taught preventive disease knowledge to left-behind children, donated blood during the pandemic, and volunteered in the community. In my senior year, I interned at Hangzhou Normal University Affiliated Hospital.
My progress has been driven by a long-term commitment to public health. I believe that every experience, from volunteering to research projects, has contributed to my understanding and skills. This dedication has manifested in various ways, like volunteering at a nursing home, educating children about disease prevention, and donating blood during critical times. All these experiences have nurtured my understanding of the challenges and rewards of improving public health. I am dedicated to continuing this journey and making a real difference in the world.
