Double Reduction: Addressing Teacher Workload for Effective Reform

In July 2021, the concept of 'double reduction' gained attention in education reform, with most discussions focusing on the reduction of students' workloads. However, the workload of teachers has not received enough attention. The heavy workload can impact the motivation and well-being of teachers, which, in turn, can affect the healthy growth of students and the successful implementation of academic load reduction. Therefore, it is essential to also address the workload of teachers when implementing 'double reduction' in education.
