My Dear Friend Zeo: A High School Friendship Filled with Growth and Laughter
I have a dear friend, let's call her Zeo, whom I met during high school. One day, while working on a bulletin board, I noticed how elegantly she wrote her letters, which caught my attention, and so I approached her to strike up a conversation. The more I got to know her, the more I liked her. She never followed the crowd blindly, nor did she watch TV shows just because everyone else in our class was watching them. She enjoyed taking notes and sometimes even wrote ancient poetry. Though she always appeared calm, I knew that sometimes she would roll her eyes to deal with unpleasant emotions. She had her own principles, and when someone spoke ill of her, she would sternly tell them not to do so. She held herself to high standards and was good at learning from others' strengths. I clearly saw how she accumulated her virtues bit by bit. I learned so much from her. We've done many silly things together, such as taking the children's train in the park. I miss the days when we spent so much time together, and I look forward to seeing her again in the future.
