Nursing to Public Health: My Journey to Fudan University

As a nursing student, I've always been passionate about healthcare and helping others. However, I also realized there's much more to learn beyond the clinical aspects of nursing, which is why I decided to pursue a master's degree in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University.

My interest in public health began when I witnessed the devastating impact of COVID-19 on our society. It made me realize the importance of disease prevention and control, and how it requires a multi-disciplinary approach. I believe that by pursuing a degree in public health, I can gain a deeper understanding of the social, economic, and environmental factors that influence health outcomes, and contribute to the development of effective public health policies and interventions.
