From Nursing to Public Health: A Unique Journey to Fudan University

Ladies and gentlemen, it's an honor to introduce myself. I'm a nursing undergraduate from Bengbu Medical College, and I've taken a unique path to pursue a Master of Science in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University.

My journey into healthcare began with a passion for helping others. Nursing provided me with extensive knowledge and experience, but I soon realized the profound need for prevention in improving health outcomes. This realization sparked my pursuit of public health, where I believe I can make a more significant impact.

As an aspiring public health professional, I'm driven by the belief that prevention is paramount. I'm eager to contribute to the development of evidence-based strategies that address the critical health challenges facing our communities. My background in both nursing and public health allows me to view healthcare holistically, and I'm confident that I can make a meaningful difference.

Beyond academics, I'm passionate about exploring the world. Traveling has broadened my perspective, while volunteering at local health clinics has allowed me to connect with communities on a deeper level. These experiences have fueled my desire to promote health and wellness on a larger scale.
