Creative Self-Introduction: Nursing to Public Health at Fudan University

Dear Professors,

I'm not here to tell you about my past, but to ignite a conversation about my future. As a nursing undergraduate from Bengbu Medical College, I've witnessed the power of direct care. However, my true passion lies in the bigger picture - in understanding the complex interplay between health, environment, and societal factors. That's why I'm pursuing a scientific master's in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Fudan University.

This program isn't just about learning, it's about equipping myself to tackle the challenges our world faces. I'm particularly drawn to the potential of community-based interventions – empowering individuals and communities to shape their own health outcomes.

My nursing background has taught me empathy, critical thinking, and the importance of collaboration. It's a foundation I'm excited to build upon, learning from and collaborating with all of you. Let's work together to create a healthier future.
