Nursing to Public Health: A Fudan University Aspiring Student's Journey

Good afternoon, distinguished professors and fellow applicants. I am delighted to have this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is XXX and I'm a nursing undergraduate student from Bengbu Medical College. Today, I'm here to share my passion for public health and preventive medicine, and my desire to pursue further studies in this field at Fudan University.

From a young age, I've always been interested in healthcare and the well-being of people. But it wasn't until I entered college and began my nursing training that I truly discovered my passion for public health. Through my clinical rotations and community service work, I witnessed firsthand the importance of preventive medicine in improving a population's overall health. I also learned about the various challenges and health disparities that exist in our society, which further ignited my desire to pursue a career in public health.

As a dedicated and motivated student, I've consistently strived for excellence in my academic and extracurricular pursuits. I've maintained a high GPA throughout my undergraduate studies and actively participated in various nursing and health-related activities, including volunteering at local hospitals and conducting health education sessions in rural communities. These experiences honed my skills and knowledge, but also instilled in me a sense of social responsibility and compassion for others.
